Kathleen Wolfe is a Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Justice. As part of the Assistant Attorney General’s leadership team, she shares in that Office’s oversight of the Justice Department’s broad federal civil rights enforcement efforts and works to uphold the civil and constitutional rights of all who live in America. She also chairs the Civil Rights Division’s Diversity Council, which assists the Assistant Attorney General in creating a culture that promotes and embraces diversity and inclusion throughout the Division. Ms. Wolfe is a lifelong civil rights lawyer and has spent her entire career at the Justice Department. She joined the Civil Rights Division in 2003 through the Justice Department’s Honors Program, and served as a trial attorney and manager before joining the Office of the Assistant Attorney General in 2022.
