Travis Methvin

Acting Director of Business, Strategy, and Resourcing

Program Executive Office Digital and Enterprise Services

Mr. Travis Methvin is a Digital Integrator, passionate about the Naval Digital Transformation, currently serving as the Acting Director of Business, Strategy, and Resourcing for Program Executive Office Digital and Enterprise Services (PEO Digital). He is charged with implementing the overall business strategy for delivery of enterprise IT services, including the management and intake of new requirements, resources, talent, and contracts.

Previously, Mr. Methvin served as the Program Manager of the Naval Commercial Cloud Services (PMW) 270 program office that was directly tasked with fostering accelerated Cloud adoption within the Navy. His responsibilities included implementation and execution of the Naval Cloud Policy, and supporting accelerated adoption commercial cloud capabilities across the Department of the Navy (DON).

Mr. Methvin’s career began with serving for eight years as an Operations Specialist in the U.S. Navy. In 2005, he matriculated from National University with a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. After earning his bachelor’s degree, Mr. Methvin served as a Strike Group Manager for Afloat Platforms managing Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) installations for ship platform modernization efforts, and as the Integrated Shipboard Network Systems (ISNS) Fleet Introduction Team Manager within the former Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR).

Prior to joining PEO Digital, Mr. Methvin served as the Transition Lead and Deputy Director for Data Center and Application Optimization (DCAO) in the former Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS), where he managed the successful consolidation of Naval Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) systems and applications, and closure of legacy data centers.
